A lead off single and they can't even get him to 2B.

If PCA was batting 2nd, he would've bunted him there 🤷‍♂️😏😏😏😅

Jose Abreu was released by the Astros and is still owed 30 mil. Not sure at his age why they even signed him for that much.

There were a few here who were championing a 2 year deal for Abreu. Abreu turned into a mancini hitter overnight. Thank sweet jeebus jed didn't go 3 on jose. At least there's that.

If he would’ve signed with the Cubs you know damn well they would’ve kept playing him until that contract ended.

And Wicks is injured.

Just forfeit the damn season and hope people are healthy in 2025, honestly

I'm stuck on gameday bc of blackouts, what did Wicks hurt

He was holding his lower back/side but it could actually be a groin/hamstring injury, hard to say. He didn't really show what exactly was hurting.

We’ve gone from needing about 3-4 runs to win today to needing 9 runs to win in the blink of an eye. 😂

I believe the cardinals are one of the worst offenses in the league, so even Kyle should be able to hold his own here

Well that was about as bad an at bat as possible from Dansby.

Bro wants to get out of the heat as quick as possible and head home

Problem not going to be Hendricks today, even if he gives up 2-3 runs, it going to be the bats not scoring and or the bullpen not holding.

When Jed gave Swanson the big contract, I'm sure he envisioned him as the light-hitting #8 hitter in a bad lineup.
