Carlos Zambrano career OPS: .636

And batting righty he was better.  I always thought he should give up switch hitting and focus on batting righty.

I absolutely think Morel is on the cusp of greatness,  which I've certainly never believed about a sub-Mendoza hitter.

Morel’s 2 ABs today produced a 108 MPH groundout with a .510 xBA and a 101.5 MPH flyout with a .670 xBA that would have been a HR in 6/30 parks. Annoying

obv easy to second guess this, but they essentially skipped the best SP in baseball (which may have cost them a game) in order to get THIS.

If any team is going to miraculously put 8 up on Shota, it's these fuucking Brewers

I also wonder about the extra rest thing but I feel like it’s a convenient thing to blame. Maybe he was just due for a terrible game. Starting pitchers generally don’t carry ERAs below 1.

If Shota wasn’t made to skip a start on the weekend, his next start would have been…. wait for it…. wait for it. Tonight or tomorrow.
