Cubs essentially have a leadoff double and are likely not going to score it.  Out 1 was ineptitude, out 2 was wildly unlucky.  Lets see what out 3 holds for us

Ian Happ with the good old “I don’t want to swing at this in case I hit into a double play despite 1st base being open” strikeout.

Wow you know you're terrible when Michael horsefeathers Busch and his 40% K rate are being intentionally walked to get to you.  Insane.

And now it appears that they are trying to see if Dansby will get himself out, otherwise they'll take their chances with the pitcher (aka Amaya - who I realize has 2 hits today but come on)

I mean it could have mattered if literally any other player on the team did anything offensively in that game.  Not his fault that all his teammates failed.

I legitimately don't think I've ever seen a hitter as lost as Amaya looks these days.

I’d argue our entire lineup looks that lost.
