Only extensions for guys we really don't want to extend.

TBF if Happ didn't mysteriously go off a cliff almost immediately after signing that deal it would've been fine

I swear Amaya and Gomes are in a fierce competition to see who can suck more as a hitter and they keep one upping each other.

Seiya looks slightly better the last couple days. I hope he's close to turning it around.

It’s sad how many Cub hitters are in the same situation that we wonder when they will “turn it around”.

I mean Swanson hasn't been good this year, but they showed that Gray is mostly sweepers in that spot. That particular instance isn't a bat speed issue or whatever; that was just guessing wrong

I guess I don’t really care that much about the semantics of why the $170 mil guy sucks so horsefeathers bad.

When was the last Cubs home run?  It was probably like 2 days ago, but it feels like they haven't hit one in 2 months (including with the wind howling out at Wrigley).

They mentioned earlier that it's been 6 games. Longest drought since 15

It was the bottom of the 8th inning on May 17th by Miguel Amaya. The HR brought the Cubs to within 8 runs of the Pirates.

The last non-garbage time HR hit was on May 16th by Ian Happ to cut the Pirates lead to 2-1 in a game the Cubs lost 5-4.

Omg this team is such a horsefeathers mess. ANOTHER out on the bases.

Yes maybe he shouldn’t have been called out, but he was still horsefeathers picked off of 2nd base.  Unbelievable
