Can’t wait for Hoerner and Swanson back on Tuesday

Is that a thing that is definitely happening?

As crappy as this team looks today, they're a baserunner and a long ball away from winning this game 😅

I’d wait until after the Luke Little inning is over before making that proclamation 😂

They say it’s the hope that kills you. 😞

I'm sorry Oneil Cruz is named after Paul O'Neill?  That is insane

It’s probably just a better sounding story than saying his dad was a huge Seinfeld fan.

Keller is good, he's not this good, having, what, 4 automatic outs, in the lineup has gone a long way towards making him look so effective today.

If Swanson is activated Tuesday,  guessing Mastro goes back down..

I'm wondering if they finally put Happ on IL and bring up Davis who been on a tear in Iowa

Losing 3 of 4 to the lowly pirates is sickening

And a bad throw to home plate yesterday might be the only reason they didn't get swept.

This is my first year watching Cubs games on Marquee after taking a sabbatical for about 3 years and what I have noticed is that JD and Boog are the main announcers, but every now and then one of them will have the day or a few days off (in the case of JD) and someone else will come in (Joe Girardi for the days JD was missing, Zaidman today). Are more people than only JD and Boog contracted to call games on Marquee?

Boog is almost always off on Sundays because he does the ESPN Sunday night game on the radio and JD pops in and out a lot, often on road trips.

The Cubs media team has become a charity for MLB has-beens.  Joe Girardi, Dexter Fowler, Cliff Floyd, Sutcliffe, and I'll guarantee they will hire Yan Gomes after he's finished, at this rate that's looking like the end of this season.. I'm sure all of these guys are dripping in baseball wisdom the likes of which we have never seen before

Welp, that's a wrap on a truly brutal & terrible effort. They are looking down the barrel of a 2-8 streak if the Braves sweep us outta town, which is highly probable.

Nico & Swanson can't get back fast enough. As bad as that slop was today the lowly Pirates were like 2-17 with RISP IIRC.

We're getting nothing from 5-9 in the order and that Happ extension is looking like a terrible overpay. This streak of terrible O, D, & BP has to end at some point.
