I thought that lazy ass throw from Swanson was going to result in a safe call

He's been on the Good Ship Lollipop for a good part of the season.

This Swanson contract is gonna age like milk.

In my mind, he's still the team leader. Sometimes leaders are absolutely shell-shocked though

Swanson has always been a streaky hitter. He had to tighten up his game though.

If the league continues to cut down on the percentage of fast balls he sees , he probably will be a below average hitter. It was good for him when he was hitting behind Acuña and in front of Riley in Atlanta

Not the case here . If the fielding starts going south , it’s going to be rough watching him for the next 5 years . But hey they didn’t give Correa 10 years or Bogaerts 11 or whatever it was he got !

At least Dansby is Dansby decent and not Jason Heyward bad.

Decent bat/elite glove. Not horrendous bat/elite glove.

It's wild how the bullpen is catching just no breaks right now, except Neris who clearly has a deal with the devil.  Over the last week the bullpen has

21.2 IP, 10 BB, 28 K, and 18 runs (plus a Manfred man if you want to say 19)

It reminds me of a Simpsons gag where something just spontaneously explodes with little provocation.

This should just be a weird temporary thing but it is wild how constant it is.

This bullpen has to be stopped. And I have to stop them! But seriously, glad we won even if it was in a discouraging fashion.

Dansby can't throw or catch anymore.

This is fine

Can't catch, can't throw, can't hit, and runs like my sister.

I'm sure he'll turn things around but FFS i'm getting hired of watching this.  He looks like spring training Morel in the field.

I've been passionately defending this bullpen, but I'm ready to punch someone in the face.

On the whole they haven't been great, lately, though, they made some good pitches inducing soft contact that's finding holes.  We all know that's randomness of baseball and will even out over the course of season.  It's just frustrating to watch the Brewers win a game with a bunch of dribblers and bloops, it'll come around and will happen to the Brewers as well.  Who knows, maybe, it'll be a key moment late in season costing them the division.
