Why?

Is the one they've been going with better ?

Basically just dropping Morel,  and moving Amaya up.

Plugging PCA into the 2 hole between 2 of their best hitters so far can actually help him get better pitches and utilize his bunting ability and speed.

I get PCA moving PCA up. But Amaya isn’t hitting either. Why is Morel dropping to 9 to being a guy 1 for his last 20 up in the line up? When no one is hitting no line up looks good.  I think you put a line up together based on what is expected of players. I think Morel is expected to be a better hitter than Amaya. And Miquel hasn’t done a thing to suggest otherwise.

They were so good for a while laying off of pitcher’s pitches and taking their walks. I don’t know what happened

I have faith Busch will be good enough at 1b with more experience, but if PCA can hit enough (not sure if he can), Cody should be the everyday 1B when he returns with Busch at DH.

What if morel is actually bad at third

Of all the spiked throws, I'm actually fine with that one, even more than the average back hand you're at very high risk of sailing the throw so erring on the side of making it scoopable is okay.  Another forehand that Busch struggled with, first one I've noticed where he couldn't get the glove on it.

I agree..

I just hope Steele, Imanaga, and Taillon keep dealing all year and I wonder if Hoyer will be actively looking to add a veteran SP via trade in July

Actually didn’t take into account the idea if adding a starter at the deadline. That is actually a good idea. That would save innings too.

Because sometimes you just gotta shake it up a bit and move guys to a different spot to give them a different look..

It's not permanent, Sometimes it works and they find their stroke again

Can't wait to see the ump chart for this game. Dude has called at least a half dozen CLEAR balls as strikes so far

Dansby might need a day off

Agree. Of all the guys who look bad, and that is most of the line up, he has looked the worst. And he is even shaky in the field. He can use a day or two.

Percentage of fastballs thrown against him is going down and so he has always done his damage against FB. Not surprising his bat has gone to hell . Hopefully the defense stays because if not it could get ugly .

Unfortunately, given that the Mets have scored the same amount of runs this series as the cubs, that means their offense is also historic garbage and everyone should be cut or benched or both, and so you can’t even really enjoy this shota start because they’re so bad.
