Hey friends, what does Jaxon Wiggins time table look like this year?

Wiggins has been throwing live BP sessions in Arizona since March. Hopefully he gets into Extended ST games soon but the ACL starts in early May. My hope is he gets into ACL games starting in May or June for an inning or two per week and ends the season up in Myrtle Beach.

Alcántara: 2/5, K, 2B - .820 OPS
Shaw: 0/3, BB, K - .929 OPS
Triantos: 1/4, 2B - .861 OPS
Ballesteros: 2/4, HR - .924 OPS

Birdsell finally had a good outing: 5 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 7 K

Zac Leigh is probably ready for the AAA bullpen.

I will admit it. I am pulling for him. Love to see him make it all the way back.

This ball was hit nearly 4 MPH harder than any ball he hit last year.  Clearly shows he's in a different place physically and about as big of a deal as a single PA can possibly be.  Horsefeathers yeah.

Nice to see Birdsell get his first good start of the year. I'm high on him. I think there is a world where he makes a few starts for the big league team this year if all goes well.

Will Sanders with his best start of his pro career: 3 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 6 K

My cold-streak tracker strikes again! Will Sanders had a good game after I added him. Paciolla and Alcantara got going after they found their way on the list. I'm taking full credit.

It's hilarious how quickly things have changed. He goes from having about the most disastrous start possible to all of a sudden being a  21 year in AA, who plays a premium position and is posting a 146 wRC+ which would warrant top 30 prospect consideration if he finished the season with that line.

Yep. Early season stuff is weird. Just really takes like a good week and things shift drastically in different directions.

Great to see him figuring it out. Being on the 40-man, if he can make his way to Iowa this year...that'd really help; both in a trade or the Cubs propper.
