No. But Fields shouldn't have taken a deep shot on third down.

Why not? It was a perfect pass. If the dumbass WR doesn’t slow down the ball hits him right in the hands. Plus he didn’t call the play.

You can't have it both ways.  He made the right throw and the receiver slowed down.  That was a TD if Scott doesn't quit on the route.

"The Important Thing Is It's Not Fields' Fault" Part 27.

We've had more of these than Marvel movies at this point.

Oh come on, how is it his fault? He didn't tell Getsy to be a pussy. He didn't tell Scott to stop running his route on a perfectly thrown ball that would have ended the game. This is just absurd.

The Bears looked good, Fields looked good, draft pick position improves and Eberflus closer to getting canned. I wanted to win but this is not a terrible outcome.

So what, does that makes your reactions the DCU? Or is it more like those sad Universal monster movies that never went anywhere and were made for no discernible reason?

Because even a perfect pass is a low percentage play

So you wanted another weak ass run up the middle that gained one yard on the last two plays? horsefeathers that weak ass mindset.

I don't know how to explain to Bears fans that there is more than one route on a play. I don't understand what they keep acting like they don't know that.

Deep balls are notoriously hard to complete.  Take the first down.
