Came out flat AGAIN, don't know what it about Underwood' teams that consistently under perform time after horsefeathers time.  Someone besides Shannon has the get their head out of their ass and wake the horsefeathers up.

Morehead shot out of their minds for the first 25 minutes.  I said to a buddy Illinois was going to win by 15-20 at halftime.  The depth is starting to wear them down and the hot shooting is cooling off.

I don't think they came out flat but the defense was predictably soft early.  They've tightened that up significantly and it's reaping dividends.

Hilarious that 4 of the 5 starters have combined for 7 points. Meanwhile the bench has 25.

This is a really laborious way of saying Shannon and Dainja led the team in scoring.

Dayton has not looked like the same team the last month or so.  Figures that even my (distant) 3rd favorite team can't bring any excitement to me this year lol

You used up all your excitement for the year early.

I actually can't believe you said this.

I'm normally so psyched for March Madness, but clearly my life is distracting to the point that I went to turn on Jeopardy today and was confused as to why it wasn't on (lol).

Jesus, I'm stressed

lol, different sport.  Just like if the Cubs won the World Series I'm still going to be disappointed if the Bears suck because the football season feels ruined.

OK maybe bad example because the Bears always suck

Samford got boned hard by the officials who just saved Self’s ass. Terrible.

That was brutal.  Hope the Zags knock them out tomorrow.

Whoa, what a minute, Underwood and the Illini making adjustments?  WTF? What's the world coming to?

What games stand out to you this season where BU didn’t make adjustments? Genuinely curious as I wasn’t able to watch a ton of games this year, but from what I did watch he seemed to lean on the versatility of the roster to adapt on the fly.

I’d agree that it was an issue in previous seasons but I wonder if that had more today with the limitations of his roster. With prominent players like Kofi (lived on the paint on both sides), Curbelo (turnovers), Trent (offense would completely disappear for entire games), you couldn’t take them off the floor, but there were certain things Underwood just had to live with.

You're correct, Underwood even mentioned their limitations with his previous teams, this team has much more versatility thus allowing for more adjustments.

All right Northwestern, 4-0 a possibility today.
