Which is exactly why that interception wasn't on Fields. He has not had a good game, but anybody acting like he's the problem on that play is just lazily signing blame at this point.

OK.  I’m not sure how much that matters.

it’s obvious at this point.  Fields has all kinds of physical tools but he’s not an NFL QB.

He should be. The defense has gotten worse, the offense has gotten worse, the discipline has gotten worse from a team that had the #1 pick last year.

What's worse is we're going to do it in the wrong order again.

Hire a GM.  Let him go through the entire process of hiring a head coach.  Then let the two of them scout and draft a QB.

We are absolutely bullheaded in our determination to never do that.

We're going to draft a QB next year, then hire a head coach the year after, then get a ne GM the year after that who will inherit the coach and QB.
