Pathetic offensive performance after a week of mostly poor offensive performances. Bats need to figure it out quickly. Doesn’t matter what team you are playing, if you can’t hit you’re gonna have a tough time winning.

thank you Morel for saving us from going 0-3 at home against 2 teams a combined 70 games under .500

Bellinger now in a 2 for 15 stretch

our 3 runs were scored on an error and 2 well placed ground balls. That’s the best we could manage hitting against pitchers with ERAs all over 4

I believe one of those was an infield single and the other was the double ahead of Morel's HR, which also wasn't hit overly hard.  It really hurts when you combine that with Dansby's extended funk and Happ's limited contributions.  Getting virtually nothing from 3-5 makes it really hard to sustain any offense.  Hopefully they turn it around really soon.

Can’t lose to the second worst team in baseball in a playoff race. Don’t care if it sometimes happens in baseball.

A couple of terrible at bats by vets this game chasing terrible pitches that would’ve gave them favorable counts to hit with.

Keep playing Wisdom at 1B and bad things will happen . Hopefully that’s the last time . Funny thing is they ended up PH for him in the 8th againts a lefty .  Last time Taillon pitched Wisdom a made a mistake as well before a Taillon imploded. What a pitiful performance by this offense .

Slump tracker:

Morel - 4 for his last 44 (.090)

Happ - 5 for his last 32 (.156)

Bellinger - 2 for his last 15 (.133)

Swanson - 3 for his last 32 (.094)

Gomes - 5 for his last 32 (.156)

Madrigal - 2 for his last 18 (.111)

Wisdom - 5 for his last 36 (.139)

Amaya - 3 for his last 21 (.142)

Tauchman - 1 for his last 13 (.076)

Barnhart - 2 for his last 12 (.167)

Hoerner, Seiya and Candelario are doing fine

Also I realize there are a billion things you can pick apart about this including using a variety of arbitrary starting points for all these slumps, I don't care, I recognize it but I'm not in the mood lol
