Kinda curious to see if this game happens, given the air quality in Chicago right now.

It basically smells like a bonfire outside, and my eyes haven't stopped watering despite being in air conditioning most of the day.

Not a huge sample size, but Madrigal has been the guy the Cubs thought they were getting from the Sox since he was brought back up from Iowa.

Just in time to be rid of the Heyward contract, the Cubs saddled themselves with another bad one.  Yeah, I know, it's not nearly as bad, but still a terrible allocation of $17 Million per year.

He is usually bad from that side. I wonder if the Cubs have talked to him about batting lefty all the time.
