Yeah, it's an old fashioned home-and-home.

The Bulls go to Staples to play the Clippers on March 13th. 8)

No Tippin' Ben Gordon is on fire again!

Doesn't have the same ring as No Tippin' Pippen. ;) Gordon with 29!!

I have 98-66 with 6:09 in the 4th quarter - I'm following the game on GameCast as always (actually, CT directed me to NBA Courtside Live at nba.com - it's faster than ESPN).

What has gotten into Ben Gordon? I absolutely hated him in college. Up until last year, he had shown to be cocky and have horrible shot selection.

Once he hit his third three in the 4th, he was looking for a 3 everytime the Bulls took it up the floor. He's a good player but I didn't like that one bit. Anyone wanna goto Bar Louie and watch him stiff a few waitresses?

BTW, I was at the game with Mark tonight, probably the most exciting Bulls gave I've been to, INCLUDING the Jordan years. This speaks from about 30 games experience.

Evening y'all.

Had an awesome time at the game tonight. Went with UMF as he pointed out earlier. We had some decent seats for the price and the Bulls... just wow. I haven't seen a performance like this since the Jordan era. This team is actually molding me into believing its a playoff team.

And now there's no excuses for not making it.

Those that know my feelings on Eddy Curry know I'm not his biggest fan. But tonight, he simply dominated in that first half and the Sixers had no match for him on the interior. This eventually led to Gordon's monster fourth quarter since it was basically a "pick your poison" scenario. Either you get murdered by Curry or see if Gordon can keep the hot hand.

What an awesome time I had seeing the Bulls.

I'm definitely gonna be heading on back to the UC a few more times before the year is over!

Here is a fantastic article from Mike Downey at the Trib. The Bulls have held 20 opponents in a row now to under 100 points. They have also taken over the lead in opponents fg%. Unbelievable for such a young team, to be playing such awesome D. The Bulls got respect from AI after the game also. He said that this team is going to do alot of good things. They put their foot on our neck and wouldnt let us up. It really is nice not to be embarrassed anymore admitting that I am a Bulls fan. Bring on the Knicks.

I was at the game tonight, too. Great game. Got some great seats, section 122, just about center court, 7th row... Gordon went nuts. What a game. This was the biggest win I've seen in person since a 40pt victory over the Magic in the 96 playoffs....

If the Bulls can pull off the 6th seed, that squares them up with the Knicks for a first round matchup. That's a matchup I'm confident they would take, and with relative ease.

BTW, what's with the Bar Louie comment? :-k

As well as the Bulls have been playing it's gonna be tough for them to get in the 6th spot. Indiana is the next team to catch, and they are still a pretty good team w/o Artest, who are just getting their team together again. Orlando may be catchable after the bad trade they made and as soon as Grant Hill realizes that he's...well, Grant Hill. And Detroit is the only team that has been better than the Bulls in the last 10. The Bulls won't catch them. Washington is as surprising as the Bulls, and they are 5 games ahead of them. I don't like their chances in the 8th spot, facing the Heat. But I would be a lot more comfortable if they get 7th and face the Cavs, although ultimately, I think Detroit will get that seed.

Guys please stop talking about playoff positioning for a bit, lets worry about getting there. As good as we've played, we can't play at this high level all year...

My parents had season tickets+good parking until this year. Allow me to boo them for a second.

bad luck is no fun.

Do I get an award for stupidest post of the day?

I disagree. We haven't talked about it in six years. It's good to gave a little excitement.

I also disagree about the "As good as we've played...." statement. Truth is, we haven't played that well in a few games, and we still won them. And while our defense is pretty good, our offense has a lot of room to improve. (especially turnovers.) Considering that these are young guys (Duhon, Gordon, Luol), I look for them to get better, and, consequently, the Bulls to play better. My two concerns are that extended road trip and the fact that our rookies may hit a wall eventually, given the season is so much longer than the college season.

Wow, I jsut read in the paper today, despite the losing record, they are in playoff contention... Wow.

I would just rahter not get my hopes up only to be disapointed. I have done that too many times in my life *cough2004cubscough* to want to do it again. I've watched every game on WGN this year through thick and thin to steal a phrase and I have supported this team through the bar years. They have played awesome, but I don't want to be disapointed if they fail.

That said, GO BULLS!

Despite the good attendance with our crappy teams in the past few seasons, I have a feeling that the UC will become THE place to be in the not too distant future if this success continues.

They've got me coming back begging for more awesome Bulls hoops.

They scored 100 the other night and everyone was going bonkers for Big Mac's
