ben gordon played a whopping 11 minutes, i like skiles right now, but he's gotta get ben more time.

Sulley Skiles said after the game something was wrong with Ben and he wasnt available for the 2nd half.

I was at that game today and that was the most boring basketball game that I have ever watched. The tempo of the game was so ridiculously slow the entire time. Somebody needs to teach the Bulls how to run a fast break. Perhaps they should bring Deron Williams and Dee Brown in there to coach the team for a day. Add to that the fact that the refs were calling fouls every other trip down the court. I know that the Bulls won but much of my excitement that I was feeling towards this team is gone. Once they get into tougher opponents than the Warriors, they will start dropping games again. Oh yeah, somebody tell Tyson Chandler that he can actually run and he should try it every once in a while. There was one play were there were 4-5 rebounds under the hoop and he never crossed half court cause he was waiting for one of his teammates to get it. I’m not sure if it is just the NBA in general or just those two teams but I really miss the good old days of MJ and Pippen running fast breaks and getting easy buckets.

btw, did you guys know that MJ had a 41 inch vertical? That’s crazy…

Burnt Out, while I agree this game was not very pretty at all, I dont think you can just take this 1 game and say that once they start facing tougher competition they will start losing again. The Bulls have no just been beating cupcakes for their victories. In the article I posted a page back, it says the Bulls have beaten like 6 of the 8 playoff teams as of right now. There was noway to get this game into a rhythm when there was 10 fouls called in 2 mins in I believe the start of the third quarter. 8 of those fouls were on the Bulls. Noway can 2 teams get into a rhythm when fouls are being called at that rate. Also, Piatkowski, Griffin, Harrington(who played tough), all logged considerable minutes tonight because of the foul trouble, Deng turning the ball over, and Gordans mystery illness. So while I understand the Bulls didnt look good, dont let tonights game skew your excitement about this team. They are an exceptional defensive team, and that is with 4 players with less than 2 years of experience in the rotation. Previous Bulls teams would have lost games like this in the 4th, but this team doesnt quit. Keep the faith Burnt Out lol.

Well, apparently Gordan was unavailable due to a mild back sprain. The trainer says he doesnt think its anything serious. I hope hes available for the game tomorrow vs. Philly.

This team is learning to win. Previous years, they would have to play a great game to win, and usually it would be against a bad team. Now, they can win even though they play like crap and they're beating teams that they should beat. This is a good sign. Let's see if they make the playoffs.

I find it amazing, personally, that the Bulls can continue to win consistently, considering how badly they have to outplay the competition on the offensive and defensive end to make up for the turnovers they commit. They lead the league by such a wide margin in turnovers it's astounding they're nearing .500.

I just talked to Mark whose at the game. He sounds really happy.

The Raptors beat the Celtics tonight. If the Bulls win, the 8th playoff seed is theirs!

He should be after the last 15 seconds of the half. Kirk had to throw up a three as the shot clock was winding down, missed it, the 76ers got the rebound, pushed it up court fast, had a 1-on-1 break, Kirk forced him to miss the shot, took it up the court, drove the lane, and dished it off to Curry with a second remaining in the half for the dunk. Impressive.

I wonder if Skiles will give the team some props.

He'd better be careful. He's doing a great job, but players might start hating him the way he talks to the media.

Doesn't have the same ring as No Tippin' Pippen. ;) Gordon with 29!!

I have 98-66 with 6:09 in the 4th quarter - I'm following the game on GameCast as always (actually, CT directed me to NBA Courtside Live at nba.com - it's faster than ESPN).

Time to empty out the bench - Eric Piatkowski, Frank Williams and Adrian Griffin are in!! Bull up 107-72  with 2:42 to go.

No Tippin' Gordon ends up with 31.

If the season ended in 2:42, the Bulls would make the playoffs!! When was the last time we could say that about the Bulls? \:D/

What has gotten into Ben Gordon? I absolutely hated him in college. Up until last year, he had shown to be cocky and have horrible shot selection.
