This thread posted solely to warn the public that if Tampa Bay loses to Seattle on Sunday my terrible team is right back to being a game out of first place and still owns the tiebreakers on all of the other three teams in the division

If they blow it, this is on you.

That last call on the Vikings the defender barely touched Davis draws a flag, Kmet gets knocked down - crickets.

Eh, if that Vikings corner didn't grab Davis, it's a TD.

Definitely bogus no call on Kmet though.

it's crazy to watch brady run and then think that he plays in the same league as justin fields

One of the worst plays ever conceived.

What is up with the overall ineptitude of the NFL' officiating? Dallas-GB, GB kickoffs, ball clearly bounces into the end zone for a touchback, official is right there, and the dumbass just stands there no signal, nothing. Leading to some confusion, then, they blow the whistles and say it bounced into the endzone.

Cowboys get horsefeathers by horsefeathers officiating.

Definitely.

Kind of fun to watch McCarthy’s heart ripped out real time though.

The officiating in the NFL hasn't been this bad since they had the replacement refs 10 or so years ago. I think it was the Packers-Seahawks game that got the labor dispute resolved

Though it's a rare play, something like last night's fumble really should be fully reviewable.

In case you didn't watch, the Eagles were driving but lost a fumble. Upon replay, the fumble was caused by an obvious face mask penalty (the ball carrier was yanked to the ground by his mask, causing the fumble). It was just one of many game-changing bad calls this week.

I saw it, first thought was it's not only the Bears who are victimized by what the NFL calls officiating, second thought, an official saw the fumble but, could not see an oblivious grab and pull of the facemask, really?

The Super Bowl last year nearly swung on what could either have been a face mask or an offensive PI on the Higgins TD to start the second half.

It would be tricky but I wouldn’t be opposed to the officials reviewing all scoring plays and turnovers to make sure no obvious penalties directly led to the score/TD, like the two examples above. So I’m not talking about a hold by the OL. It would be tough to implement but I think they could look into it. TD are more common than goals in soccer but not by much. This isn’t basketball.

This game was pretty nuts.

Washington absolutely dominated the T.O.P.. when they kicked a FG to go up 23-14, they led like 31 minutes to 7. Ended up 40:20. The Eagles receivers let Hurts down big. He should have had 4-5 TDs.
