Does Lovie receive cheers, or boos, or indifference?

I'd cheer. I have positive memories of those teams, and he is the best head coach we've had in a long time. Perhaps that's sad, but it's true.

Irrational early hot take, but man did missing on Brian Daboll suck. Daniel Jones hasn't been amazing, but he has been competent, Barkley is looking much closer to his old self and they're off to a 2-0 star albeit Tennessee is not looking at all like the team they were supposed to be.

That's who I wanted the Bears to get. The Giants might get to 3-0 but I would be very surprised if they end up with a winning season.

maybe, but with the Cowboys QB issues and Washington being Washington, I could see a wild card birth.

1995 was probably the only year the Bears had a top 5 offense? But the d sucked.

2006 was fun and you can never have a better start to a SB then Hester running it back.

Also, the Arizona comeback from 23-0 down.

The SF game I attended and I believe the Bears lead 44-0 at halftime. Went to both playoff wins, Reggie Bush doing that stupid flip in the endzone before halftime to get within one score, then the Bears dismantled them afterwards. Will Smith's "Going to Miami" playing in the stadium after they advanced to the SB, the snow falling.

He should get cheered but I'm guessing indifference since it's been 10 years since he's been our coach, he's coached against the Bears at Soldier Field before (he got cheers), Illini fans may have soured on him a bit and mostly because they don't typically spotlight coaches on the video board so there probably won't be a moment to cheer specifically for him.

I wish I was at that Saints game. I was at the Seahawks game and you could cut the tension in the crowd with a knife late in the game when the Seahawks had 2 drives at midfield where a FG would have won it. Amazing feeling to see a game winning kick to advance in the playoffs in person though.

I wont get to see this game dammit

Can't you just go to a local sports bar that has Sunday Ticket? There's no shortage of those...granted, it means being at a bar at 10 am lol

(Or what UMFan said)

I live in a sports bar desert. In some ways its great because here, everyone would rather take part in the beautiful outdoors, in other ways it sucks because I miss games. Closest one would be Tacoma area, an hour away

eta: this is reportedly the closest bar with Sunday Ticket to me, and I think they closed

plus, Port Orchard is.....west virgininy

Really? There's not even some crappy BWW or something like that off an interstate exit somewhere?

there are a few bars that supposedly have it but everytime I've tried to watch a Bears game there, they dont have it. I have no idea why. I can only say that Yelp is misleading on this subject. I've lived here 14 years and never had success

eta: actually, i stand corrected. there IS a BWW near me but I've never tried them. Thanks for the idea

Reddit used to have a NFL Streams page but it looks like it was shut down last year. Looks like it has moved to Telegram? Might want to check there.

BWW would be a good option, not sure what time they would open for a 10AM kickoff

NFL+ with a VPN?

tell me more

eta: I usually have to try and pirate it

Honestly I've never used a VPN before but I'm sure you can find one with a free trial or just free online. NFL+ allows you to watch all local games on phones/smart TVs. You can get a free 7 day trial (I think its still available), after that its $5 a month. VPN allows the computer to think you are located in Chicago, thus the NFL+ games available to you including the Bears game.

I'm trying to talk myself into picking the Bears in a survivor pool this week. It's so big that it rarely ends in the regular season and it extends into the playoffs. If you don't have any teams left to pick in the post-season you're fucked so you have to win games throughout the season with teams that have no shot at the playoffs. If the Bears can't beat the Texans at Soldier Field we have a huge problem. Yet, I'm concerned that Vegas only has the Bears favored by 2.5-3 points so far.

This is the exact type of game the Bears usually find a way to scratch out, but man oh man would I be nervous picking this Bears offense at this point in time.

I had the Saints in Week 1 and Denver in Week 2 so I've already been living on the edge. Lol.

If you feel you have to use the Bears, then this is the game to use them. Their easiest games after this are on the road (NYG, ATL, NYJ). Easiest remaining home game is either Washington or Detroit. Washington is on a short week and Detroit looks frisky.

The 90's were Eric Kramer on the high side and Alonzo Spellman on the down side. I was never more sad then than the day Trace Armstrong left
I think Cade McNown and Curtis Enis being taken in back to back drafts was the low point of the 90s.

Exactly what I was thinking. The Texans start Davis Mills at QB. Their Week 1 tie with Indy was a shocker but it looks like the Colts kinda suck after all. And on the road last week against Denver the Texans couldn't even get into the end zone.

Passing on Randy Moss because he overslept for an interview and taking an unhinged RB instead.
