In the past two weeks, my thoughts about this season for the Bulls have grown from "borderline .500 team hoping to get out of the play-in game" to "they might finish with a better regular season record than Milwaukee".

However, for the experts and projections, they've improved from a 36-win team to a 41-win team.

Analytics focused solely on team performance thus far this season, like Sagarin or SRS, have the Bulls much higher than most projections. Sagarin has them 8th overall behind Utah, Miami, Brooklyn, Philly, Milwaukee, Golden State and Denver (and ahead of the Lakers and Suns and Knicks), which really feels about right. It'd still put them 5th in the East, which is both something I'd have taken going into the season and slightly disappointing based on how well they've already played.

Pretty happy with the performance of the Bulls thus far.

I'm thinking maybe we should run the offense through Vucevic more often (he's a surprisingly good passer) to get him going. He's better than his stats and his FG% is way too low right now and I know it'll pick up... It's just this Bulls team doesn't approach its ceiling if Vucevic isn't playing close to his All-Star level. Yeah, the Patrick Williams injury sucks, but the impact is pretty minimal short-term. If we get Vucevic going I think our offensive rating starts approaching elite levels (it's currently 10th right ahead of GS).

Really solid throw back in the city series jerseys this year...

I like them, but this one and several of the other city designs have the word too high on the jersey.

They’ve taken care of business, but they need to beat a quality opponent on the road a few times before I can start proclaiming 5th best in the East is too low. Miami has been destroying everyone and the other 4 have to be ranked ahead of the Bulls until we get a larger sample size. I wouldn’t be shocked at all to see the Bulls finish top 3 in the East, though.

I turned on last night's game it was 46-35 Bulls. I turned it off when it was 87-69 Celtics, and did not turn it back on.

When I watched, the Celtics outscored the Bulls 62-23. When I didn't watch, the Bulls outscored them 105-51.

The Celtics did not get a single defensive rebound in the 4th quarter.

That almost doesn't even seem possible.

Especially against a team with one elite rebounder. I guess none of the other guys are liabilities on the board too, but its still a crazy stat.

Get elite scorers. Then "just try" at rebounding and defense. Winning formula.

Bulls only missed 4 shots in the whole quarter. Hook this damn horsefeathers up into my veins!
