Pip definitely has some valid points there but he also comes off as a bit of a cry baby to me. I hope the whole book isn’t all bitterness and whining.

Like 95% of what Pippen has said over the last 15 years is bitterness and whining tbh. And I love Pip anyways

it's hilarious that even michael horsefeathering jordan's second banana can't stand that he's (accurately) seen as a second banana.

like, dude, it's ok.

Yeah, plus the documentary was always framed/marketed that it was about Jordan first, and that last season/the Bulls second. The dude acting like he thought it was going to be equally about all of them is practically delusional, and, more likely, is just a straight up lie.

Maybe it's just me, but I didn't expect it to be so Jordan heavy going in. I legit expected it to be about the entire team. Obviously, Jordan was always going to get the most face time, but I expected a lot more Pippen, Phil and Rodman at the very least. But I agree, it kinda is what it is at this point. Scottie's career is in no way diminished by playing with Jordan. He's a top 50 player of all time. A Dream Teamer. You're a legend Scottie, it's OK.

I mean, that's kinda IS just on you. It was no secret that Jordan's involvement was what was driving this; it was the whole selling point. Honestly, why would anyone think Jordan would be so heavily involved in it if it WASN'T focused on him?

How long does this team need to play well before they start getting some national games? I don't think I've seen a Bulls game (outside of them playing the Cavs) in years

I saw 2-3 national games on ESPN on the schedule. None on TNT if I remember correctly. Aren't national games predefined before the season? I don't think you can flex the Bulls in like NBC does late in the season on SNF.

I think there is a bit of flexibility (I seem to recall the Bulls having a game flexed out of ESPN last season) but not that much and it certainly wouldn't be happening this early in the season.

I think games are pretty fixed through the Christmas Day (maybe even the ASG) games but I think there’s some maneuverability after that.

Can’t compete with Embiid and a bunch of shooters. The sixers were down like 5 rotation guys and they just kept finding guys to hit a 3.

If we could get a shooter and a quality big it would make a gigantic difference in their teams ceiling
