I was entertained most of this season. Hoping for some nice roster tweaks, better health, and off-season growth from PW and Ayo.

Plus no more Coby White, he'll have that occasional hot game but, for the most part, he's worthless.

Can we package him with Vooch to get some new basketballs and a few gallons of Gatorade?

Works for me.

I have a lot of questions.

I don't think that's the kind of 'ultimate competitor' example DeRozan thinks it is lol

Like, just blow the team up. The more I think about it the more concerned I am.

The Sixers blew it up a decade ago after making round two and might, I repeat might, finally get past that round this spring.

Blowing it up is far more likely not to work than it is to work. Better to remain competitive as long as you can maintain the flexibility to add a superstar once the opportunity presents itself.

To be clear, that was a joking comment made in response to the tic tac toe story. More importantly, the implications of that story are bonkers. Either Demar repeatedly went first against a guy clearly struggling with the basic concepts of the game, or Zach, multiple times, went first and somehow didn't even manage to draw.

Missd the tic tac toe tweet.

I mean, we all assumed Zach wasn't super bright already right?

This is Zach's GOAT origin story. Jordan had Monopoly with his college roommate. Zach has Tic Tac Toe with DeRozan.

it IS the ultimate competitor story - it's win, or nothing. draws are losses. don't you get it?

Ah I didn't interpret that way.

he sounded non-committal in his remarks and KC Johnson even said Bulls fans are freaking out, can you give us some indication of where the bulls stand, and his response was equally non-commitattal.

That said, I think that's just how zach talks and he doesn't want JR to low ball him. If the Bulls offer him the max he will sign

I believe the Bulls and AKME intend to offer the full max to him.

I'm really not sweating the details and/or him meeting with other teams. I would put it at a 90-95% confidence level that he re-signs with the Bulls. Now, if the Bulls decided to continue with GarPax and didn't meaningfully improve the roster... yeah, then he would say "horsefeathers this" and bounce for another team.

Maybe. He also signed an offer sheet with the Kings last time. I think he stays since we can offer him the most. But if we mess around and don’t go max, I think he’ll go to a west coast team.
