Don't have a good feeling about this one.

One advantage is that it's a short week for the Raiders, as they play on MNF tonight. I think the line I saw earlier was Raiders -5.5.

We'll see...if this one is tough then certainty the 3 after won't be any easier (GB, @TB, SF), should probably win this one if they want any hope of competing for a playoff spot.

I was looking into this and it's not as much of an advantage as you would think. Raiders are home next week (short road trip home tonight). They aren't playing a great team. Those are the 2 biggest factors for short week struggles.

I assume the Bears will need a few things to break their way, like a couple big turnovers, to win this one.

Hey, it could happen.

IDK if I want the Raiders to lose tonight to reveal some chinks in their armor for next week or if I want them to win and the Bears have a chance to knock off one of the last 2 unbeaten teams. I actually kind of like the Bears chances. They're going to be underdogs from now until Thanksgiving, unless the Steelers completely implode, though that's still a road game for the Bears. And they are probably not going to lose 6 straight games, so this one is as winnable as any of the next 6 on paper.

Montgomery expected to miss 4-5 weeks.

Coming back after the bye seems pretty likely (5 weeks is the last game before the bye)

Didn't see anything special from the Raiders, their defense is not good, if the Bears can give Justin some decent protection. He'll gash them, there's no reason to believe Mooney won't continue to run by people and we've seen, thankfully and it's about horsefeathering time, that the Bears have a QB who can actually hit on the deep ball. Unlike recent times opponents are going to have to respect the Bears ability to go deep.

How confident are you in Dalton against the Raiders D?

Not at all, in fact, Dalton at QB would be just the tonic, get back, feel good about themselves the Raiders' D needs. Dalton starting does not give the Bears a chance to win, it's an automatic loss.

To give you an idea of how little Pace values 6th round draft picks, 2 of the 6th round picks from May's draft didn't even make the roster this year.

There's a chance that our O-line is decent and we just had the misfortune of seeing Aaron Donald and Myles Garrett in two of the first three weeks?
