I spent the first few weeks saying “meh kyle always has a streak somewhat similar to this every year” but at this point my mind goes to “maybe the cubs failed at developing kyle”. Then I remember when they tried to turn Heyward into a power hitter and instead he fell apart on offense and when they tried to make Starlin walk more and turned him into one of the worst hitters in baseball for a couple years.

 

 

(Yes they’ve also developed solid hitters but screw it im feeling negative right now)
