It is weird the difference in reactions with a combined no hitter. Everyone is still jacked but the celebration is more spread out because there’s not one pitcher to focus on.

Either way, pretty cool. I remember before Z’s no hitter it had been forever since the Cubs threw one. Now it’s happened several times

They had no horsefeathering chance after that walk. Straight dirty.

I was there for Jake's, lapping up all the fans tears. This one had way too many walks to be all that exciting for me.

Pujols in particular looked way overmatched.

Cubs had 3 catchers get RBI's in Game 7 of the World Series and now all 3 have caught no hitters as Cubs

Second to last pitch to Smith, Kimbrel just stared at the bench after he let go of it. He knew Smith had 0 chance.

So 4 no hitters in 6 seasons and each no hitter had a different catcher behind the plate:

2015: Montero

2016: Ross

2020: Caratini

2021: Contreras

Weird, after abuck rode Davies’ ass last time out and made a big deal about how terrible he is, he’s nowhere to be found in this thread.

Dude only shows up to piss and moan

That was great. I missed the first batter where he walked him on 4 pitches, which is unbelievable to me with how the last 3 batters went.
