Could just be the standard overstatement of minor news that people on twitter like to do. But if it was legit big news im thinking either some major NCAA violations for a big program or playoff expansion.

Convincing the Sugar to move off NYD in years it's not a semifinal so the semis can always be on NYD would qualify as massive. I'd root for that, personally.

It would only take 1 of them to make it possible to have 2 NYD semifinals annually. They'd sandwich the Rose those other years, but it wouldn't be any more awkward than this is.

Just really poor clock management while Michigan was driving which forced them to kick a 57 yard FG (which they made amazingly)

 

I would say that I’m still in Harbaughs corner but clearly the lack of success in bigger games (1-9 vs OSU and bowl games, but 4-3 against MSU/ND) needs to change right away. But he’s also stabilized the program to the point where 9-10 wins is the floor (though sadly also the ceiling). Sitting through 3-9 and 5-7 seasons with the previous 2 coaches absolutely sucked. So because of that I’m willing to give him more rope than many. But at some point in the very near future he needs to break through and have a season with a division title with a win over OSU at the very least. He’s been a literal inch away from achieving this in 2016 but obviously close is not good enough.

IU/Tennessee in a defensive battle as expected. Hoosiers back 7 playing really well. Vols front 4 being unblockable.

Disappointing finish for IU blowing a 13 point lead under 5 minutes left. Missed PAT the difference. Still a very good showing and 16 of 22 starters back, and almost all the depth.

I am not sure who Michigan is getting that would be clearly better...since they struggled getting guys who were a lot worse the last couple of times

Pretty sure they’re both going to be great. I know. Not some earth shattering statement considering they’re both going to be #1 overall picks. I’d lean Burrow as well.
