Love the Hoosiers' bowl selection. I wanted the Gator in particular, because it's played in January. Not that it means a whole lot anymore, but this is just the 3rd January bowl game for IU. And getting what is historically a football school was ideal for me, as it can't hurt with recruiting to beat a team from the South on a national stage.

I feel the same, but beating Auburn would be far better for the Gophers then beating Tennessee would be for Indiana. Best of luck, would love a Big Ten sweep

Mississippi State’s first string QB literally had his face broken after practice by their top LB when they got in a fight. Broken orbital bone. Having to play the backup now against Louisville.

Hopefully they’re playing their backup LB too

You shouldn’t be bowl eligible if losing your bowl gives you a losing record for the year

Yes we heard you say that the last 3 years

Stay tuned for my take in 2020

Happened to have ESPN on and they're interviewing Dabo and boy is he going all in on this whole "Clemson is being disrespected" BS that he's been going on about for a few weeks now.

The interviewer says they haven't lost a football game since New Years Day 2018 but they're ranked 3rd in the playoff and asks Dabo what it tells him. He says that it's the first time it's happened in a long time, since like maybe 1966.

Uh, Dabo, you only have to go back 5 years. Florida State won the title and went undefeated in 2013, then went undefeated in 2014 but were ranked 3rd in the playoff. And not only were they ranked third, they were behind two one-loss teams as well.

I know the main difference is that Florida State team had a bunch of close calls all year and wasn't anywhere close to what they were the year before while Clemson only had one close win. But OSU and LSU just have better resume's than Clemson.

He is technically correct if only because Florida State only dropped to 2 in the AP poll in '14. There was, of course, no selection committee in '66 when it happened to (oddly enough) Alabama.

It's transparently a motivational tactic for his team, but yeah, it's pretty lame. At least no one on his team got suspended for PEDs this year.

I mean Dabo and his “aww shucks we’re just lil Ole Clemson” schtick is super annoying but they’re the defending national champs and on paper are as good or better than they were last year. It’s not really his fault the ACC is so horrible this year.

He’s annoying but I understand why it’s prob frustrating. Plus I’m sure he’s doing this “us against the world”/disrespect act in part to motivate his team. It’s probably smart and surely doesn’t hurt.

But again I want to emphasize he’s annoying as hell.

I think they’ll beat OSU, too, fwiw

I'm picking OSU (not that I want to), but I think Fields' knee injury is a legitimate concern. If he's slow and cant be as mobile, a lot of what makes their offense great will be affected imo.

Clemson's best win this year is what? A mediocre Texas A&M team? Their schedule was Charmin soft.

That said, they're still bad to the bone and the OSU game is going to be awesome.

Clemson hasn’t faced a defense anywhere close to what OSU is rolling out there. I don’t get why all the “experts” are picking Clemson

Yeah I posted this a few weeks ago but based on sagarin ratings, Michigan played 5 opponents that were tougher than Clemson's best opponent.

Doesnt mean they arent a great team just that they were pretty much predestined to be in the playoffs based on their schedule.

I've had my orbital bone broken in a similar situation. I don't know how serious it is but that could keep him out of football for awhile.
