So let me tell you what’s going to unexpectedly happen today:

Zobrist pedaled his bike to the ballpark around 5:15 this morning (he has a property in Cincinnati). He then realized that’s way too early and rode it back home. He'll later ride it back at an appropriate time and walk in to the locker room quietly. He'll be feeling better but still kind of melancholy (anyone else unable to see this word with thinking of Smashing Pumpkins?) and stuff. Joe then says, “what’s up Ben? How’s it hanging?” Ben says, “I don’t know if I believe in Jesus anymore”. Maddon takes a large sip of his red wine and responds, “well either way I’ll have you batting second today behind Almora”. Ben chuckles to himself and mutters, “see”, quietly to nobody in particular.

Jason Heyward walks over and gives him a big hug. He says, “Look man. I just need to remind you who you are”. Rizzo and KB both say “we love you bruh” in unison and then say “Jinx” to each other and laugh and laugh and laugh. Willson walks to Zobrist and looks him in the eyes. He taps his fist lightly on Ben's chest and then points at his face and walks away. Javy walks over and looks at Ben curiously. His eyes then flash open as he remembers who Ben is. He says, “hey man I remember you!” Ben turns to Heyward and says, “Thanks, Jason”. Heyward winks back at him.

Zobrist goes on to rope 3 doubles and the Cubs win 8-3. After the game he’ll go on to say he's found Jesus again.

Skyline chili is good, actually

I don't think its "good" but I think its edible. My wife is from Cincinnati and she insists we go there every time we visit her parents. I eat it....would never go out of my way to go there otherwise though.

I think I ate Skyline once in college because they had a location in Muncie, but I don't remember. I did enjoy the chili dog at Great American Ball Park, however.

I lived in Cincy for almost 20 years, I always though Gold Star was better.

I actually do too, but my father in law worked for the bread company that sells Skyline their hot dog buns so they refuse to eat anywhere else lol

I seriously don't understand why we brought him back. The Cubs are getting zero value back in a trade now. Send him down to the minors and call up Ian Happ or Robel Garcia (yes, I know he has to be added to the 40-man roster).

It's unreal how Russell seemingly goes out of his way to antagonize this fan base. Just do something horsefeathering right, anything
