I’m not sure why Descalso would need IL time, he’s been playing and looking healthy to me. I’d swap Bote or Zagunis for Happ just for the hell of it.

People have told me he's playing hurt when I point out how much he sucks. Me, I just think he's useless.

Descalso has been dealing with an ankle issue (I think or some sort of leg issue) for like 2 weeks now. He was basically only a PH for the last homestand. He’s not that good or important enough to not IL when horsefeathers like that happens to him. He allegedly is finally healthy now, Bote still has a literal broken toe too.

I mean Descalso has started the last two games at second base.

I’m guessing unless something has changed with MLB blackout rules (I’m sure it hasn’t) I’ll be blacked out of this Washington DC game bc i live in NC and that makes perfect sense.

Does anyone have some bootleg stream or anything I could watch on the computer by chance?

Loving those sweet, sweet leadoff walks. Keep it up, Schwarber.

Man, I really wish the MLB.TV app had Gameday when you get blacked out.

Now that is baseball right there.

Pitcher who is death on righties, faces a righty who sucks against everyone but historically more against righties and the batter takes him deep

And not on a mistake either. That was a freaking impressive swing by Almora. Reminded me a little of the homer he hit in the NLCS in LA a couple years ago.

Almora's line recently is so weird; BAbip is in line with what he always does, meh BA propped up by the slugging, and a faithfully abysmal OBP.

Scherzer getting tagged.
