I'm sure its nothing

I hope it's nothing

god plz let it be nothing

Hopefully if it comes down to it, they handle it better than they did with Mack.

Sit him vs Detroit and NY and get him ready for LA. If they sit him vs Detroit, they almost have to vs the Giants.

Daniel is much more capable than what we have seen in the past, knows the system, etc.

I just wonder how much of Mitchell's 2nd half was caused by his shoulder compared to some of the inconsistency we have seen.

Almost 0. It was hurt on the Harrison Smith late hit, which happened on the final drive of the game for the Bears' offense. He only threw 1 pass after that (incomplete on 3rd down in FG range).

But yeah, he's fine. He's going to play.

If the way I'm reading the timeline of events is correct, he wasn't considered to be injured after the game on Sunday night (Nagy at noon yesterday said that nothing had changed regarding injuries from the night before when nothing was said about Mitch).

This injury report was completely theoretical since they didn't practice. So there's a wide range of what can be true from he's perfectly fine and this is all gamesmanship with a team they just played and are playing again on a short week to his shoulder is going to be amputated.

Call me crazy, but I like the Bears chances against either of the 2 MNF teams. The Bears are the type of defense that can hold both teams under 30. I think if you hold them under 30, you have a shot at beating both teams. KC especially, cannot make a stop on D to save their lives.

KC and LAR have combined to be held under 30 points just 4 times this season. One of which was the Rams scoring 29 to beat the Packers by 2. The only other teams to hold either team under 30 were teams who don't have the offense to keep up anyway. Oddly enough, Denver held both teams under 30 (other was Arizona to KC).

The Bears' ability to stop the run and make those teams 1 dimensional against a great pass rush and with turnover causing DBs makes those completely different games than either team has really faced.

Both teams last night have their share of pass rushers and do enough rushing the passer. But neither team has the combo that Hicks and Mack have been, combined with the ability to cover at all CB spots with a ballhawking safety behind them. I fully expect the Bears to win a cold weather night game in Soldier Field in a few weeks. Playoffs may be a different story, but I like the chances on winning in LA much more than winning in NOLA.

I don't follow.

The Giants game is 9 days after the Lions game. He will have had a full 2 weeks between games.

He has a shoulder injury and Daniel plays & does well, if he isn't 100%, just sit him against a garbage team.

I'd rather see them be more cautious than they were with Mack.

The point spread remains at -4. I am sure this injury is nothing. If this were a Sunday game coming up I doubt he even makes the injury report when it would have been released on Wednesday.

I like Daniel as the backup, and I doubt they could find a better backup since he's as familiar with the Nagy offense as anyone could be. I think they win against the Lions if Daniel plays, but I do hope Trubisky can go.

Though you're never in the clear with shoulder injuries, the bears have handled the Mack (sans the patriots game) and Robinson injuries really well, especially considering the recurrence for ankle and hamstring ailments. My guess is he's out this week.

Yeah sure sounds like he is out.

I dunno. Schefter tweeted that the bears are leaning towards him playing per a source

They had Nagy's press conference on the Score and the way he spoke sure made it seem like he wasn't playing, Maybe I am just being pessimistic.

Maybe Dr. Gryzlo is his source after he got a look at Mitch

If Mitch is out and Daniel starts, what happens if he gets hurt?

Tyler Bray is on the practice squad. Keep an eye on the transaction wire. If they promote Bray to the 53, it means Mitch isn't playing. Of course, they could display some gamesmanship and not make any move until tomorrow morning.
