I get the hit and run. You want to stay out of the double play with Contreras and there's a reasonably fast baserunner in Happ. Plus Joe believes that h&r can sometimes get a struggling hitter to approach the at bat differently and maybe break them out of a funk.

At the same time, we don’t seem to scout these AAA players as hitters since they kill us so how can we expect to know they have a good arm because they probably don’t scout their defense either.
