Our chance at the division likely was the Cardinals winning tonight and us winning tonight. Only us winning tonight won't get the job done, in my opinion.

 

The Brewers not playing tomorrow is key in this regard.

Have any of you ever watched baseball before? I know this month has been frustrating, but acting like the Brewers are guaranteed to sweep the Tigers is ridiculous because baseball is baseball and the odds of them doing that are less than 50%.

It's like 30% assuming each game they are around 60-65% to win

Baseball is weird. For all we know the pressure of playing a bad team at home gets to them. People keep predicting the end but the cubs keep holding on

If the Cubs and Brewers both win tonight I have a hard time seeing us winning the division in 162 games. There is no way the Brewers are winning less than 2 games at home against Detroit and I find it hard to believe the Cubs are just going to sweep the Cardinals. I mean crazy things happen in baseball but yeah I don’t feel super great about our respective series Edited by UMFan83
