Randy Rosario was sent down to Iowa instead of the obvious move of DFA'ing Duensing which kind of sucks.

Yeah but Randy was getting by on smoke and mirrors and I don’t know if he’s really better than Duensing. This also helps the “depth” and let’s Randy throw more regularly to hopefully fine tune things to become a real thing instead of a guy waiting to blow up because he was getting lucky. Duensing is the last guy in the pen anyways.

They seem to be taking it extra careful with Morrow, he isn’t even throwing yet. So he might not be back until rosters expand. Hopefully it’s sooner and everyone else is healthy so they can just cut Duensing or phantom DL him or Chatwood.

I really don’t think any of the AAA shuttle guys are better, or at least clearly better. Keep the “depth.” Hopefully Smyly, Morrow and Yu are back soon enough. That’s when they can be cut/DL’d.
