So how many starters is Theo going to target before or by the deadline because our rotation outside of Lester is dumpster fire

The velocity dip by Hendricks last year was scary. This is just a mechanical fix in my opinion and if there is a guy that can fix it, it is Kyle.

Seems like there’s a good chance he’s back with the news last week it was just some inflammation and not anything serious. Q had been pretty decent lately and should get better, Hendricks will figure it out and pitch like he has, Lester is Lester and Monty/Chatwood is fine. If anything I could see us getting a Clayton Richard type dude for some depth but I don’t see an impact add.

You want to make a bet? It's a minor injury in terms of severity.

Theory I have done 0 to look up: The reason the Cubs' clutch numbers are so bad the past few years is that the middle and bottom of the order are so good, we have a disproportionate number of runners on base for our pitchers.
