I’ll be convinced a cubs/brewers game isn’t a close, scoring game (or extra inning game) when I see it. Score a lot of runs off these idiots

I had almost forgotten that Hader pitched for the Brewers, since they hadn't used him against the Cubs this season. Now I understand why.

horsefeathers, this guy is pitching again?

Remember when it seemed like Edwin pitched every third day? Chatwood has taken over that role.

Hader won’t be available, Knebel threw 25 yesterday. Get to Anderson who has been mediocre recently and then feast on the dregs of their bullpen.

I just said the exact same thing to a buddy. Outside of the glorious W last night, that's the best thing about that game.

I wasn't in yesterday's game thread during the late innings, did we talk about how Hader is absolutely going to have his arm fried(either via injury, ineffectiveness, or both) by throwing multiple max effort innings every other day? He's on pace to break 90 IP, which hasn't been done since Carlos Torres and Betances in 2014.

Mediocre recently? He has a 5.81 FIP, so his 4.57 ERA is actually luck driven. He's garbage and has always been garbage. He gives up dongs like Chatwood gives up walks. Score 15 on these losers and make their delusions disappear before the all star game this year.

What happens when an undonging force meets a dongable object?

I was being sporting to him.

He's going to die. He already gets gassed in the second inning of his appearances. You could tell he was just done last night. 7th inning fastball velocity was 94.6 mph. 8th inning was 93.3 mph. It's like that every time he pitches, too.

He's already started regressing lately, too. He isn't as good as he was early in the year. He's still very good and probably the best in the business, But he still has control issues. Through May 19, he had a 2.30 BB/9 and 18.44 K/9. He has a 7.45 BB/9 and 14.90 K/9 in 9.2 IP since then.

He's not quite the same weapon when he has to throw a lot of pitches and can only give you 1.1 or 1.2 IP instead of the 2.1 and 2.2 he was giving in less than 40 pitches in April.

The other thing that was due to happen is the Brewers finally wasting his appearances. Basically two months straight would go: Hader pitches 2.2 innings in a 1-run game, Brewers have three blowouts while he rests, Hader pitches 2.1 innings in a 1-run game, rinse and repeat.

In June, he's pitched in a 5-run win, a 9-run win and a 5-run loss.

*Hader finishes the season with an insane number of IP*

You are a much better person than I am. The delusional Brewer fan base has made me hate them in every way.

What was it they declared themselves again? All I remember is it was ridiculous and we created an acronym for it.
