Really love the Noah Naylor pick for the Indians. They'll give him all the time he needs behind the dish.

I wonder if this is the dagger in the Mejia behind the plate option in Cleveland. The doubts have continued to grow despite the 80 grade arm.

Doubt Naylor would impact Mejia. Naylor's at least ... what, best case 4-5 years away?

Do the Cubs pick again tonight?

Yes, three more picks

Cool, didn't know if they did all the compensatory picks tonight

I would love if we end up with Alek Thomas here. He was one of the half dozen guys I was really eyeing at #24

93. Brennen Davis, OF, Basha High School, Chandler, Arizona. Davis started his season late because he was playing basketball, and his best tool, his speed, was seldom on display because of a hamstring injury. He's a very likely center fielder with a chance to end up plus there, bringing bigger questions on whether he'll hit enough to be a regular.

One of the first pop-up guys on the radar this spring, Davis was making noise out in Arizona and having scouts flock in to Basha High School to see him play long before most of the rest of the country was done with winter. A highly-athletic, highly-projectable athlete, Davis is viewed as one of the more raw prospects in the country who will take some time to develop, but is likewise viewed as having considerable upside. He's very athletic and projects to stick in center field long term, can really run and scouts believe that as he matures he has a chance to grow into significant power. He seems likely to head to school at this juncture but could blossom into a high draft choice when he's done at Miami, where he is committed.

PG has him at 162.

They thinking Rocker is gonna be there at the comp picks? Gotta use this underslot somewhere.

What is the benefit of taking one of those guys later instead of with this pick?
