That was a great AB. He hasn't been drawing tons of unintentional walks, we all know this, but just watching his ABs over the last month, there's been some changes, w/ a lot more good takes. This AB just now, a lot close pitches that he laid off of and took his base, nice!

Watching the Fox Sports SE broadcast, listening to Chip Carey. Whoever's in the booth with him went on a strange tangent that half inning about how Ian Happ just goes up there twisting away trying to hit everything 9 miles, but in today's game, that's acceptable anymore. (Then Happ strikes out.) That's the only other option if he doesn't send one onto the streets. There's no in between. No in between. I wonder how that will play in the playoffs when he has to face better pitching than he has most of the year.
