If he felt it was out of line that she called him out about being a bad parent (and on that note I'm just assuming she did - I haven't looked into that much. But for the purpose of this post let's just say she did) then address that. He never did. He was completely dismissive and rude and it comes across IMO as completely sexist. I can't understand how anyone could see that as not being sexist. He could have addressed it either on-air or off-air but there's simply no excuse for that kind of behavior.

You're equating being a terrible person in front of cameras to being a bad parent. Nobody is disputing that Ball is living vicariously thru his kid(s). But he's also essentially a nobody, trying to make himself famous so he can capitalize off his sons' talent. There's a method to his madness. By all accounts his boys are well-behaved, intelligent young men. That has more to do with his ability as a parent than stupid horsefeathers he says on TV. He's clearly a trash human being, and maybe the boys are successful in spite of him.....but it's stepping over the line to make that determination, IMO.

Either way, the point isn't whether he's a good parent or not. It's about whether you can call him a terrible parent and then play the victim when you get treated like a person who called someone a terrible parent.

That's not what happened: she questioned his parenting because he's a freakshow constantly out there showing he is, indeed, someone it would be a horsefeathering nightmare to have as a parent. His entire persona revolves around him crowing about him being the dad of these kids, so, yeah, let's not suddenly get all high and mighty and act like his role as a parent is off limits. If he had an issue with what she said, he could have responded to what she said, but instead he just decided to be a sexist dick on national TV and didn't address the parenting thing at all.

Which, by the way, just furthers the case that he's a terrible parent.

This idea that talking about someone as a parent is somehow "stepping over the line" is nonsense. Nothing about this guy is off limits because of how HE has put himself out there.

I think he can be a version of Curry in the current NBA.

You think he can be that good of a shooter? I don't see a scorer out of Ball like Curry/IT/Harden/etc where he scores like 24+ pts/game. I see him more like of a Jason Kidd mold (with a slightly better offensive game) where he'll go like 18/6/8. Maybe a Chris Paul with less assists a better comparison?

I think he can be a very good shooter, it's not fair to say he can be Curry good but think it can be close. A more offensive Kidd is probably the best comp.

It would be equally amusing to see Ball fall to the Bulls as it would be for them to not draft him there because he's not their guy.

Holy Christ! A good game. If Smart can score he might be a better option than IT since he can defend a little. I think Boston probably caught Cleveland off guard so we still won't get a good series but it'd be cool if we did.

If Boston can give Cleveland this much trouble with the ball movement and switching it's hard to imagine them beating the Warriors. Of course LeBron will do some crazy things I'm sure.

I was punished for having hope when I thought Irving was hurt.

Gotta think you are so excited for the future though regardless of how this series ends. Good core and the top pick and payroll flexibility. Nice world you live in.

Part of me thinks LeBron is going to "unexpectedly" lead Cleveland to the title, the other part of me things the Warriors sweep or win in 5.

The warriors should win barring any injuries/suspensions. The Cavs are gonna have a hard time holding them under 110-20 a game, their defense is pretty bad.

I mostly agree but LeBron has been preparing all season for this series.

What's one good way to destroy any of the hype for Cavs-Warriors part 3 after a less than enjoyable playoffs thus far? Make us wait an entire week before game 1!

I hate how inflexible the NBA is with their playoff scheduling.

Parlayed the Warriors -7 and o226

Gonna be damn close on the over

Likewise and bet them separately, nice night for us. The Warriors defense was really good when it needed to be, the Cave can't guard at all. The lane was so open all night.

The play where JR Smith ran to a shooter on a fast break followed by an uncontested Durant flying in for a dunk was pretty embarrassing.

it felt like that happened 5 times in the first half alone.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

I saw that yesterday, I haven't seen any other writer/site report that really so idk how accurate it is, also have never heard of or seen that guy break/report stuff before. I think if anything it's the Lakers leaking stuff to make sure Lonzo takes the workouts/interviews serious this week.
