I seriously never want to see any part of this game again besides the final out. Holy horsefeathers; I think I shaved off a good 15 years from my lifespan in the last 4 hours.

 

It didn't hit me until after it was over that it probably goes down as the greatest game in history.

I don't know what it will take for it to be topped either.

 

Wait until we can reflect on the number of Hall of Fame careers involved.

Don't know about you guys, but I have gotten absolutely no work done today. I fill up my browser with tabs of articles, and then i read them, and then i remember to go to another side, and then open up 6-7 articles from that site.

Well basically everywhere here in Bloomington is sold out of the World Series stuff. The girl at Dick's said they had a truck come in earlier and were sold out in minutes.

That's what I figured. Had the same problem when they won the pennant. A few days later Dick's had tons of stuff, I would imagine by Friday or Saturday the same. I just don't know if I can wait that long. I want everything I can get my hands on

it's quite awesome that the final out went Bryant to Rizzo instead of a K or a pop out.

I'm easily the happiest for Rizzo. Bryant, Russell, Contreras, plus the FA's didn't live through the lean years. Rizzo was on a 101 loss team. He was the start of the rebuild, and had to play through the "tanking" years. He deserves this more than anyone
