Yeah, right out the gate like this for ARod on television...he is going to have a gig wherever he wants for as long as he wants doing whatever he wants.

Pinch Hitting him for Heyward against lefties is a gig id give him if he wants... hell probably righties too.

Then he can take Coomer's spot in the booth for the 5th inning. Win, win, win

Remember when we wanted to send him to the Padres for...I don't even remember what.

I wanted to send trash ass Castro

Tyson Ross and I for one was sick to my stomach thinking Theo might do it. horsefeathers pitchers (think Ross has serious issues now) & i was always against trading Javy.

Im actually in the minority that hes more untouchable than Addy even but good news is they will dominate together up the middle the next decade in Cubs pinstripes.

That was the most amazing baseball game ever.

Snuck up behind the Cubs dugout for the 9th. Fist bumped Jason McLeod after the game (I think he was just shocked someone knew his name and so he offered his fist).

Someone tell these guys that the World Series is at stake here.

I'm sure that would be a revelation to them. Good call.

Just wanted to point out the most Ski-ing post of alltime in the middle of a 1-1 NLCS game 5 where Zobrist just hit a screamer that was caught by Puig.

I am a massive idiot who likes posting stupid horsefeathers, yes.

I can't wait to run Kershaw out of the game in the fifth on Saturday.

Highlights, highlights here, highlights.

So much better if you imagine Pat saying "Donggggggg" instead of "Goneeee" in that weird cadence he did for Addy.

Haha:

A similar scene unfolded in the sixth inning with the Dodgers trailing, 3-1. This time, the culprit was rookie shortstop Seager, who reached base when cement-footed Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo allowed a chopper to bounce past his glove and into right field.

Lester’s problems holding baserunners go back to his days with the Boston Red Sox. The Red Sox tried working with Lester on delivering baseballs to first base, but that didn’t work. The Cubs tried pretending it was a non-issue. That didn’t work, either.

Oh.

Well I mean, he might not even win the Cy Young, and Javy could beat him out for series MVP. Clearly something drastic needs to be done.

I mean that was a pretty poor showing by Rizzo.

Is that the cement-footed Rizzo that stole 2nd after about 500 pickoff attempts, or the one from Grease?

If they were serious about trying something they should've just tried stealing 2nd before Lester was even in his windup to guarantee he'd be the one throwing.

Which would've looked extra funny when Lester guns him down at 2nd by rolling the baseball like a bowling ball there.

Rizzo : cement-footed :: Adrian Gonzalez: ??
