im going to the wedding of my coworker tomorrow and hes a huge dodger fan

 

apparently there will be no tv at the venue and the ceremony starts at basically first pitch

 

whats the play here

 

Car close by, game on tv located close to the ceremony (bar, friends house, whatever) and a friend not affiliated with the couple willing to call in a bomb threat

Will be watching the game in Champaign tomorrow. My son (13 years old now) and I will be en route to Wrigley for game 2. . . . .hopefully a complete thrashing of Kershaw.

 

I've been watching the weather and both days look to be around 70 degrees with 12-15 mph winds out of the south. . . . .wow. I was at game 3 last year and the dongs were amazing. Let's do 7 dongs in game 1. . . . 8 dongs in game 2. .. . .please!!!!

Roberts is going to kill a pitcher before this series is over.

 

Clayton Kershaw, who started Tuesday and earned a save on his between-starts throw day on Thursday, came out of Game 5 of the NLDS fine physically, Roberts said. Though he stopped short of officially naming Kershaw his Game 2 starter — which would be Sunday, on regular rest for Kershaw — Roberts just smiled as he said, “He’s tracking to start when we all think.”

 

Roberts said, rather amazingly, that Kenley Jansen, after a career-high 51-pitch, 7-out performance in Game 5, has some leg fatigue but would be available in Game 1 on Saturday, but noted likely not for more than an inning.

In other fun trivia, the one run Lester gave up against the Dodgers was a home run by Hernandez, who wasn't on the NLDS roster and doesn't look to be a probable addition for the NLCS.

 

Pitcher Brett Anderson and utility man Kiké Hernandez have joined the Dodgers in Chicago, and per Roberts are both considerations to be added to the roster. Hernandez is 3-for-12 (.250) against Lester in his career with a home run and a triple, the only player on the Dodgers with a home run against the southpaw.

i know it sounds odd, but the seattle area is 99% trees and water. a 25 mph wind here is like a tornado in the midwest. it's ridiculous.
