I still can't believe what I just saw, this team has no quit.

 

I'm telling you. Can't remember the last time I saw a blink of an eye momentum pillage like that. And by the time the bottom of the 9th rolled around, they were only down by a run, but their souls were too broken to care.

So the Cubs are probably going to the World Series. It is slightly more probable than not.

I left work and it was 5-2 and I'd turned the game off on my phone, checked At Bat and saw we had 2 on, so despite the fake rally alarm bells I knew I had to listen to Pat and Ron on the drive home and now I'm hoarse.

 

I held my 8 week old son and watched the postgame interviews with him and it was a moment I'll never forget. I hope I get a few more of those this month.

Had to give a presentation to clients with the Cubs down 5-2 in the 8th inning.

 

Finished the presentation, checked my phone immediately and the Cubs were up 6-5 going to the bottom of the 9th.

 

Watched Aroldis blow away 3 Giants in order.
