To me, there's too much chatter about the Cubs defense being the reason for Hendricks (and to a lesser extent Lester) for me to think he will actually win the Cy Young. Holding out hope though.

 

The consensus still seems to be Bryant for MVP which is great because I thought his support was start to fall off following a pretty dismal month of September (by his standards at least)

He also said he thinks a pitcher has to be historically good to get on an MVP ballot so that eliminates Hendricks and Lester.

 

Obviously Addison won't win it but it will be interesting to see how many ballots he gets named on.
