See Cubs, [scoring runs]>[not scoring runs]

Alright, cutting boy vs. chomp...

Yeah, I don't have a great feeling about this, but the Sox suck, so who knows.

Also, the Cubs should wear throwbacks for this game.

This is one of the few games where I expected the Cubs to not be favored in, but that isn't the case.

JD is going to be a barrel of laughs tonight. He's gone out of his way to make a crack about Sale every day since the cutting happened.

OPS vs. LHB (over 30 AB)

Ross 1.139

Baez 1.049

Bryant 1.031

Fowler .884

Contreras .861

Rizzo .844

Zobrist .828

Szczur .827

Russell .701

Heyward .647 (somehow better than vs. RHP!)

Granted Sale is not your average LHP, but the fact is our guys love facing lefties.

Yeah, he was quite funny last night. "The notes say he missed his last start...doesn't say why though...."

Be a good day for J-Hey to sit and get Contreras back in there. Szczur in OF if Contreras catches, Contreras in LF if Ross behind the plate (though he'll catch tomorrow w/ Lester going).

I think this is Sale's first start Sox are not favored in. Cubs -122 on the moneyline. I guess the thought would be that the Sox bullpen will implode again as long as Lackey can keep the Cubs within striking distance by the 7th.

I will be at the game today, right field bleachers - extra early during batting practice for the sole reason of heckling Sale while he warms up and getting in his head

currently taking 1-liner suggestions to yell at him

if he throws meatballs, you're welcome.

If you're going to make a cutting joke it better be clever or you won't be noticed amongst the crowd of meatballs throwing out the same low quality ish

Lackey seems like the type of pitcher the White Sox offense can do well against, since they don't take a ton of walks and Lackey throws a lot of FBs in the zone. But also their offense sucks and Lackey has held down far better offenses this year. So what I am saying is I don't have a clue.
