If La Stella or Coghlan isn't going to be in the lineup, then the Cubs have 4 guys who are great at hitting RHP, a handful that are okay, and whatever you want to call 2016 Heyward. This is less an indictment of team quality and more a reiteration that Montero serves a perfectly useful purpose even if he's not having a good year.
