Just imagine what the Cubs record would be if they had fortunate luck in one run games.

 

This would be a good day to blow out the Cards early, Jake can throw 5 perfect innings, then rain can come and wash out the last 4 innings with the Cubs already leading 16-0.

There was a rare pretty swing from Heyward last night on the double. He should do that much more often.

 

I really wanted Sczuzurzr to walk so Heyward would have a shot to really piss off Cardinal fans.

Oh damn, good call. That one AB is certainly indicative of future results. I don't know what I was thinking.

I didn't act like that all. Because what happened on monday is irrelevant to what happened (or didn't) last night.
