delicious

as much damage as they can cause to the rest of the NL, the better. Then they'll go away, never to return, this summer.

Also Khris Davis hit 3 homers last night, including a walk off Grand Slam

He is now the third person in the last week and a half to have a 3 homer game. The others were Aaron Hill and Lorenzo Cain

Oakland Coliseum seems like a horrible place to watch a baseball game.

The stadium sucks but I enjoyed the game i saw there though they were trying to clinch the division so there was a pretty good atmosphere.

Harvey is broken

Holy crap has he been horrible.

Yep. He's been terrible, deGrom's velocity is down 2.5 mph (his K/9 is down from 9.24 and 9.66 the last two years to 5.75) and Matz just missed a start with elbow and forearm tightness.

Remember when there were a bunch of ninnies on here that were afraid to face the Mets in the playoffs again?

Harvey's broke. His velocity is way down and he is getting teed off on. DeGrom's velocity is down even more -- some 2 mph on everything he throws. He's not even striking out 6 per 9 innings. Matz is missing starts with elbow soreness. That's not even mentioning their pedestrian, oft-injured, and old lineup. Once again: horsefeathers pitchers!

As if our dongsmiths should have been scared in the first place...

I guess I could have just typed: "What he said."

Great minds think alike.

Whoa... this is getting even weirder. I didn't remember it was you, but we both posted a thread for the "Other Games Week of 4/25" at the exact same time, in which we said basically the exact same thing. Some serious déjà vu.

"Suck it!!! Our rotation will dominate for years, know that!!!" -- emailed to me by a Mets fan at work after the NLCS

Haha, yeah, those two threads were the first thing I thought of when I saw your post.

Not that his stuff or results have reflected it or lead you to think anything is wrong but Syndergaard went in for a MRI like a week ago. IDK if it's a routine thing or if he felt he needed to get something checked, but still. Even when they are going great pitchers still suck.
