I didn't realize the fans in Texas were so passionate. I just assumed baseball was something people in Texas lightly followed to pass the time between football seasons.

This is true for a good portion of the state including Houston. It's one of their annoying qualities. Houston sports fans just talk the same way members of the tea party do.

Hammel's stuff might play up a notch moving to the bullpen and he could be mildly intriguing there. If none of the starters are moved I'd be fine with letting Hendricks and Hammel be the 5th starter based on match ups and even spot start for the rest of the starters for 1-2 starts if we have the luxury of a playoff spot locked up relatively early.

Scared? No. But he got raked over the coals pretty badly for it. I wouldn't be surprised to see him gun shy (or ask for a serious overpay) for Gray.

I think we'd have to give them a higher ceiling arm than Hendricks in the deal and adjust the 3 position prospects you listed accordingly.
