Things we already knew that got confirmed yesterday:

Wichita State was way, way underseeded.

The Pac-12 completely gamed the RPI to make their teams look good this year, but all the overseeding didn't help them anyway.

Got 15 of the 16 games right yesterday, picking upsets based on the projected closest games between underseeded lower seeds and overseeded higher seeds. Only one I missed on was Purdue, who really should have won anyway.

I hope there are some good games tomorrow. Today kinda sucked.

Hmm....4 double digit seeds won, 8 of 16 games with a margin of 10 points or less, 3 great finishes (Yaylor, ALR/Purdue, Prov/USC), 2 of them involving buzzer beaters to send to OT or win, and ALR/Purdue was an all time classic opening round game IMO.

It wasn't a spectacular bonkers day, but I don't think the day sucked at all. There was an opening round day either last year or the year before where I believe it went pretty much chalk except for 8/9 games and a large majority of the games were blowouts. That day sucked. This one had its moments.

wichita state is likely one of the best 20 teams in the country, but their resume didn't reflect that. sucks for arizona, but wsu was seeded where they should have been based on what they accomplished. now if you want to not consider resume and evaluated based on the eye test or whatever, then yeah they were underseeded.

It was a dumb question, Yale is an exceptional rebounding team

Not only that but Baylor shot 44% from the field vs. Yale's 53%. Yale had 15 more defensive rebounding opportunities than Baylor.

Stupid Purdue is the only one I've missed so far. Humbug, had them in the sweet 16

edit: and there are apparently 92000 ESPN brackets that are still perfect

My Midwest bracket is torn up. I am 2-5 picking those games, and the last game of the first round is Michigan State who is getting to the point in the game where there is legit upset potential.

and Michigan State helps me stay in the cellar...

Aww, I like your bracket.

Also, about half the NSBB pool had MSU winning the NC.

38.8% of ESPN.com brackets had MSU in the title game according to ESPN PR Twitter account. I think I'm with UMF, biggest upset of all time.
