Goodness, the Indians are just out of their minds. 32-2 in their last 34, is that some kind of record?

With Kluber/Carrasco to Miller, there’s going to be some very low scoring games in the post season.

the horsefeathers does this have to do with the cardinals?

That's who Cardinals fans are going to be rooting for in October again.

The Cardinals should sign/trade for as many 32+ year old sluggers as they can find. Over-the-hill power bats are clearly the new market inefficiency.

Donaldson has 5 WAR in only 111 games.

yeah he's really good. But they will likely have to pay a hefty sum for 1 year and then feel obligated to sign him to a long term deal into his late 30's

I would far rather they do one year of Donaldson than multiple years of Moustakas or Machado.

They are so incredibly loyal to matheney and I couldn't be happier. That front office is absurdly conservative. Their farm system continues to produce uselful players but they seem to go out of their way to avoid acquiring a real impact player. I too would be throwing a fit.

Yep, pitching was clearly their fatal flaw this year. I become more convinced by the day that Luhnow was the brains of the operation and Mozeliak just happened to be in the right place at the right time to get the credit for the run they had.

Didn’t Piscotty, Carpenter and Grichuk make a ton of errors in the field and on the bases this year??? Do they not count as coming through the org? Edited by Cubswin11

How many years of not making the playoffs will it take before they stop acting like they are special?

As long as Molina and Wainwright are there, they're gonna have that kind of attitude is my guess.

I saw a lot of Cardinals fans wishing the Dodgers luck on Twitter last night, and I realized that that’s their life now, rooting for the teams the Cubs are playing in the playoffs. It was a satisfying feeling.

Cardinal fans and White Sox fans are the exact same people, just born in different parts of the state.
