Yeah, that's an all-time classic. I figured all the comments here were overselling it, like he took a bouncing ball glancing off his face or something, but nope: just getting flat out clobbered by a fly ball and Hawk could not possibly give less of a horsefeathers.

Sadly, he's probably gonna get voted into the HOF - more for longevity than actually being a good announcer.

 

They do a Frick Award every year, anyone who announces for 20 years will wind up getting in. He is pretty old though.
