Sure, if we ignore things like Benghazi: The Movie, his repeated non-answers about wanting to be "not political" despite hanging his career choices at this point on VERY political roles, and the hilarious idea of only Jack Ryan can save the world from a NUCLEAR VENEZUELA, it's like it's not even there at all.

He seems like a repressed lib to me. And by not being "political" he thinks he's got a better shot at movie stardom. (FALSE, he's simply not a movie star and it's a lame way to pursue a career, which fits with his overall lameness.)

Meh; he strikes me as doing the bland, movie star version of being a Tom Brady-type creep, but just slightly smarter enough to not actually be seen with one of those dumb red hats. He knows what he's doing.

Also: his head is WAY too horsefeathering big.

That's a lot for a paper salesman

OHHHH WAIT you are weirdly extrapolating this lousy metaphor to now include the actors' other roles for reasons

Yeah but isn't he also a pro-enviornmental Ivy Leaguer? I still don't get the MAGA or Tom Brady vibe. I think he's earnestly and thoughtfully lame.

Derwood takes the rules of Office metaphors VERY SERIOUSLY.

That's SUCH an Oscar move.

I mean, is Walter White a goofball dad who has three rambunctious kids and a nagging wife?

Since Jesse is basically his kid...yes!

What's that, you needed another reminder about how absurdly great Pedro Martinez was?

Was reading an article about how good Jack Flaherty has been in the second half and they listed the best half seasons by OPS+ since 1920. The best was God Mode Jake's 2016 second half at a 13 OPS+ allowed. Tied for 4th on the list was Pedro's second half in 2000 at a 19 OPS+. Tied for 6th on the list was Pedro's first half in 2000 at a 24 OPS+. So two of the top six spots ever were both by Pedro in the same season.

I can't wait for the day when an MLB player complains about a strike once an automated strike zone is in place. That looked like a clear strike in the clip above so I don't know what he's complaining about...
